Reference Point Software:
http://www.referencepointsoftware.com/

This page will be changing dramatically as I have time. The first thing I want to add here is a software that helped me through my masters program. It was developed by a nurse, David Plaut, as he was working on his Masters in Nursing Informatics! It is called Reference Point. I currently still use the templates for papers. It is very economical at $29.95.

This software lets you manually put in references. It will work for Macs or PCs and it has awesome templates prepared for APA or MLA papers and I believe that I saw they had added outline and table templates. This program is amazing and will handle most masters programs. However, once you begin a doctorate the number of articles increases exponentially so you will need to go to EndNote or RefWorks. I review these programs on the organizational apps page. But for an easy to use software with templates which format your papers, tables or outlines in correct APA or MLA format, this is a great software.

PERRLA:

Another software that is highly recommended is PERRLA.
I have not used this program but have heard raves about it.
